Learn Portuguese - FlashApp helps English speakers learn Brazilian Portuguese through adaptive flashcards and spaced repetition. Starting with the easiest phrases and progressively introducing more complex vocabulary, the app adapts to your skill level to ensure effective learning.

How does the difficulty system work?

The app uses four difficulty ratings: Easy, Good, Hard, and Very Hard. Based on your performance, the app automatically adjusts which cards you see and when you review them.

How do I track my progress?

Visit the Profile tab to see your total words learned, daily streaks, comprehension percentage, and mastery progress across different difficulty levels (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2).

Can I use the app offline?

Yes! Flashcards and your progress are cached locally. You can review cards offline, and your progress will sync automatically when you're back online.

How does the audio feature work?

Each card includes high-quality Brazilian Portuguese audio. Tap the speaker icon to hear native pronunciation. Audio is cached to ensure fast playback.

What authentication methods are supported?

You can sign in with Email/Password, Sign in with Apple, or Google Sign-In. Your progress syncs automatically across all your devices.

How do I reset my password?

On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password?" and enter your email. You'll receive a password reset link to create a new password.

Audio not playing

• Check that your device volume is turned up
• Ensure silent mode is off
• Try force-closing and reopening the app
• Check your internet connection for first-time audio downloads

Progress not syncing

• Ensure you're signed in to your account
• Check your internet connection
• Try logging out and logging back in
• Make sure you're using the same account on all devices

App crashing or freezing

• Make sure you have the latest version of the app
• Try restarting your device
• Ensure you have enough storage space
• Contact support if the issue persists
